Avant founder recognised for outstanding contribution to social care

Sally Graham, founder of the Avant Homecare franchise, has been nominated for the Great British Care Awards for her outstanding contribution to social care.

Sally says: “I am delighted, on behalf of all the people we care for, the franchisees who deliver our services, their care managers and professional care teams.”

Care is in Sally’s blood: she grew up in the care home owned and managed by her parents, and later, with her father, launched and ran a domiciliary care service.

Prospective franchisees can be confident that Sally understands what it is like to be a care service franchisee. In 1996 she started her first care services business as a franchisee and built it into a multimillion-pound turnover business before selling it to found Avant Homecare in 2012.

“I have experienced first-hand the enormous rewards that well-managed care services can bring to the franchisees who deliver it. I founded the Avant Homecare franchise to use my expertise to help other caring, business-minded people to start their own care services businesses," she says.
