Whilst there is currently no modifying treatment for Alzheimer's, a diagnosis followed by appropriate medical help and support could dramatically improve their length and quality of life of people with Alzheimer's.


One in every 14 of the population aged 65 years and over has dementia and at the current rate of prevalence this will grow to over 1.5 million people by 2040 (Alzheimer's Society, 2019).
